Behold, an incredible sun-catcher which is an extraordinary piece of Dazzling Driftwood & Glass Works history. This masterpiece features natural driftwood, responsibly gathered from the southernmost shores of Florida, serving as a stunning canvas for rare and timeless art.
At its heart, you’ll find an IHS crystal, adorned with a cherub and a radiant cross — each meticulously handcrafted by 19th-century artisans whose unparalleled techniques have since been lost to time. This dazzling creation also includes an exquisite IHS crystal star, equally handmade in the mid to late 1800s.
These historic elements are lovingly connected by sterling silver wire to vintage button crystals, creating a bridge between past and present. Surrounding them are "ruffle skirt" crystals — a charming name affectionately given by one of our dedicated collectors — crafted between the 1950s and 1980s. This comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, will be a wonderful conversation starter, and when struck by a ray of sunshine will create rainbows for years to come.
